The specialized logo looks weird on such a small tube.

I like the fact that it doesn't have track frame geometry. I don't ride velos, so having roadbike geometry with the simplicity and weight of a singlespeed is optimal. I've always had a thing for specialized bikes..

track geometry sucks for riding around, nothing like hitting your toes on the wheel while making sharp turns, even more dangerous when its fixd

This is why I like my Fuji Gran Tour singlespeed.

Why I don't like it is that the chainring is so big it hurts my knee if I ride a lot. I like to push it as hard as I have to, but man it starts to ache me after a while. I should change that shit.

I wasted $40 on a fixed gear cog and lockring. I've tried it a few times, but ride in a very hilly (SF) city and need the daily ability to stop on a dime, hop stuff, corner sharp and coast without sweating where my feet are. Fixed felt restricting to me... i spin out on the way to work, missing all the greens and wear the shit out of my back tire for no good reason. I guess they are good for working muscles you never knew existed.

... it's like, why crank the e-brake in your car every time you want to slow down or stop when needed.

it would be sick to try and see you try that, palmstriking your automatic shifter in neutral whilst rolling downhill into traffic.

yo, what is the brake mechanism in an auto trans park feature anyhow?

Stabbed myself in the eyeball with bike saddle while removing the stuck seat post from the seat tube. You're welcome.

My bike looks like a ride from the mission, and the bike before that was the financial district bike. Living in the tenderloin is priceless.

If WB were still here this would be a great opportunity to ask him how he likes his new bike.

I guess next in line would be criz. But I don't think he even rides bikes...
