Not that run, but oh yeah.
Nitto promenade bars. Perhaps an aberration but suiting me well on short commutes.

Woops! we'll have to wait for the appeals and stuff to see if Andy moves up the podium for the tour.

Nyc messengers...

This is now what I do for fun in the city. Put your smartphones away and LOOK B4 OPENING YER DOOR. Splitting lanes is almost safer considering no one opens their damn door while moving. Old people who forget which pedal is the gas and brake should have their license revoked. Cabbies are assholes, but they won't hit ya.. they'll scrub ya, but they won't hit ya.

I hope one of the pedestrians clotheslines your ass. Unfortunately, all of the drivers that should trample you for your life-threatening antics are presumed guilty and the fear of losing their license, insurance and freedom won't do a damn thing to put an end to this bullshit and the cops, well, the cops have better things to do and probbaly couldn't catch you anyway.

If you get doored by a 330 ci with PA plates - know this - I meant it.

Yo, I don't ride crazy stupid like messengers racing for cash. I stop when I should and go when it's right. Don't threaten me for a tube-link i'm not a part of (though i have respect for their skill). Sure I run reds (who doesn't in the city).. but yea i respect pedestrians and don't force traffic to heed my way. I just like hauling ass in traffic.. reminds me of hauling ass through trees on skis. The only reason I ride single-speed is because my components would get stolen if i didn't. It's also a $200 bike. I still use 3 u-locks when i park it.
