wow. bike goes fast. lot faster than i got accustomed to on the SS. hydraulic brakes stop a fuckload faster than V-brakes. was ass-up more than a few times on the first ride, but being able to lock the wheels up with one finger is pretty fuggin sweet. forgot what it was like to sit and spin up a hill. really forgot. i was doubled over the bar licking the front wheel after nearly pulling the front end up over my forehead more than a few times.

So gnarr. I had a hand-me-down mongoose. It was yellow. Best bike ever. No clue what happened to it.
Been loving my 1973 Raleigh beater. Brazed up a rack for it. Took it on some beer runs. So far 35 lbs handled well. I guess I should paint it.
