It's not "just taxes," retard. It's a taxed percentage of their income, and the tax "break" means they were paying less than they should have been based on how much they made. Now that they are being required to pay what they owe, people like you are pissed. Same thing with the Big Pharma subsidies passed in 2006. Will the cost to consumers rise? Yes, of course... but only because the prices were artificially low due to government subsidy of that industry/company through tax "breaks." Essentialy, this is de facto socialism, as the government is "controlling" these companies and their profit margins through their tax code. And for someone who has been whining about shiteaters and socialism for a good two years now, it's surprising to see you come out in favor of government subsidy (welfare, socialism, nationalism of industry, government control of markets) for ANYTHING, even big corporations.

You do tell us why, though... you, the American consumer is driven only by the cost-to-you. I don't think the gumint can fix shit by "instituting" taxes. The government fucked shit up by manipulating taxes, specifically, with the tax breaks you don't want repealed. I don't think the government should give tax breaks, subsidies, to these companies. It is the manipulation of tax subsidies to these companies that is fucked up and equates to a form of socialism... and you are complaining that these subsidy tax breaks are going away because it will cost you more. I'm not confused, you clearly are speaking out in favor of corporate welfare and socialist policy when it provides you a direct benefit.

It is called a "tax burden" and everyone who lives, breathes, and does business in society has one. Recognizing that fact doesn't mean I believe or trust the state. I just understand that the only two constants in life are "death and taxes." So the "should have been" is what you actually owe in taxes. If you get a tax break and pay less, whether you are a corporation or an individual, you are getting a "subsidy" (free fucking socialist money, right?). I don't necessarily support these tax breaks, especially the ones for breeders and corporations, but if the "subsidy" suddenly goes away and you have to start actually paying what you actually owe, don't come complaining to me that your east-street free ride went away. In fact, I support closing these loopholes and people/corporations actually paying what they owe, because where the FUCK do you think that tax break subsidy "free" money comes from? Middle class working man taxes, which I fucking pay on every fucking paycheck I make because I fucking work for a living. Or the deficit.
