Who still climbs?

I barely remember how to boulder between knee injury and COVID.

Also, niceporch sucks.

Psshhhh. I just sent purple V7 in the gym despite arthritis preventing me from being able to crimp hard anymore. Killin it.

Gonna send some old Cooper's Rocks and SWPA projects in a month.

We are currently gymless so just have basement workouts. Hard to motivate to climb when we had to cancel trips to Font and Rocklands this year.

I don't even remember how to use features on this forum anymore. I should see if I still have admin privileges so I can ban everyone.

Hmm.. I haven't climbed in a while, but feel the urge sometimes. I miss the friendships and camaraderie... Sure is odd getting old, lol.

Haven’t really climbed in almost three years, but I’m still telling myself I’m rehabbing and not an ex-climber.

Effed my right knee and hip during an epic a few years ago, and it took about two years to get them okay again. And I also took on a time intensive job a couple years ago (more robots) that hasn’t slowed down since I’ve been able to move again, but I’ve got my fingers crossed for a road trip after my current project is finished / goes out for testing.

I miss hanging out with climbers. But N Texas gym climbers are even more douche than they were 20 years ago, so I’m looking to build a home wall soon.

I know, right? I’m ready to live in a cabin on the side of a mountain again.

It's true. We are also quick to tell you about the time we had to drink filthy water out of a hoofprint.

Rad. I just got back into archery too. Shooting compound mostly but also have an old fiberglass bear recurve that I mess around with. I'm kicking around the idea of hunting whitetail next year so I practice shooting a deer target at random unknown distances in the woods. Using a 25 yard single pin. Hold on the bottom of the body for 5-20 yards. Heart at 20-25. Middle vitals at 30.

I'm hitting vitals 80% of the time. But I want that to be 95% before I consider really hunting. Judging distance is an art.
