Riding single track by headlamp adterwork in the late fall is the TITS! Ride so much better in the small focus of light when you can't see all the goblins waiting in the shadows to jump up and bite your ass.

I already had to try to blind a deutschebag in a 5 series just to get him to see me at dusk... I think I need a reflective vest.

Well I have one of those. And it is really really nice and when I ride in the cold there is some part of me that wants the heated seats. But dammit. When I am in my fly German luxury touring machine sitting in traffic, there is some huge huge part of me that just wants to PEDAL dammit. So fuck it. Cars are for hauling crash pads and bikes are for hauling ass past a long line of cagers on the way to work.

Some days there are 50mph winds. They are always head winds.

I'm not a big fan of 29ers but this is a beaut. Similar to the raw On-One 45650b I used to have.

Nice whip, RockFarmer! Thanks for contributing to this bustling forum. Looks like a great bike for floating over terrain and not needing any skills. You rocking Chesters? Great flats but a little small.

Lox you better post up your weaksauce 29er. Remember when Colin wouldn't let someone try out his bike for fear of the wheels going out of true? That was hilarious.

Ain't no cholla back y'all... fuckin' wall of cactus looming on my ride this morning. So smoky you can barely see the Catalinas.

Singletrack so good you just breathe that shit and go.

Where the trail pics at? I can just keep posting cactus. Nbd.

Another quick 11 miles this morning. I'd share a pic but it's just more desert and I was going too fast to pull out the phone. I did see a dang 1 m tall jackrabbit. Crazy.

Do y'all even ride?

8 miles after work. Secret townie trails.

Bamboo forest. Don't go over the bars into the death spikes.

I see your little jackrabbit and raise you a wide-racked 6-pointer. Second time I've seen this guy this year. Wish he was on huntable land.

Look at that stubby little stem! Do you even have a stem?!? Do all modarn mtbs have this tiny stem?

That is a nice lookin' singletrack. I'd ride 8 miles of that.

Long stems are so 1998. It's all about that long top tube and stubby stem. Gary Fisher was right, brah. That said, I still have nostalgia for terrible old school geometry and pizza cutter tires.

8 miles of bamboo would be beautiful but we only have a grove here and there. It's still kinda magical though.

I am interested in this new school geometry but remain slightly unconvinced in the speed.

Would try it in my endless cactus garden.
