SHOES THREAD.

What shoes are you guys and gals noobing in?

Me I'm warming up and slabbing in Moccasyms. Classics. Got a six year old pair of Solutions that were my main shoe for a while but are now on gym climbing duty. Still haven't worn a hole thru the rand yet which is miraculous. My footwork is pure perfection. My outdoor bouldering shoe is a Sportiva Skwama. Love those too but I doubt they'll hold up as well as the Solutions.

Are the Adidas 5.10's better or worse? Just curious but I gave up on 5.10s and Evolv like 8 years ago. I'd blow through a pair in like 3 months (with the exception of Mocs). I only climb Italian shoes now. But that said, I have a pair of canvas 5.10 Freeriders that have been super solid as my mountain bike shoe.

Anyone still hip to Madrock? I still laugh when I see someone wearing a pair and I tell them they can add a grade to any send in those things.

5.10 Anasazi VCS but I had to leave like 2 pairs in France. And I hear they are a new style and not as good. ASDF.

I dunno. I just know teh oldschool ones fit great in the heel. Mostly loose, but crank down the velcros to keep them snug.

Imagine if they made a lace-up Solution. That would be rad.

One of the young guns in our gym was wearing 5.10 rock socks and I was like WHERE DID YOU GET THOSE SWEET VINTAGE DOWNTURNED SHOES?

Always thought those looked cool but never tried them.
