So, I finally had the chance to bolder at Squamish, 13 years after getting rained out on my first visit. I climbed there last Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning. I only managed 42 problems, but at least I had a [rented] crashpad. At the end of the day on Tuesday, I was climbing with a guy from Vancouver and a guy from Quebec. After I crushed Titanic (a two move V3), the one with the accent asked how old I was. When I told him, he said something to the effect of "It's good to see you still throwing down at your age". Yeah buddy, I'm not old. I actually ran 6.5 miles that morning too, and hike a few miles with my wife and son.
Here's a pic of me on my favorite problem there (Superfly Slab -V0).
