lyme disease. really puts a damper on exploring in the summer. our dog and i have both been tickbit but not long enough for me to get the lyme. font is actually better for when it is warmer in this regard because the wooded areas are more open than our dank forests. but... we cannot go to font all the time due to distance and costs. now that we have a kid, its rough because how do you keep a baby from getting ticks in a superdense forest? fukkkkkkk. and now is cold as fuck here. at least i sent the quote unquote historic grand jewel of our local area last year and now have only sheisty eliminate jan hojer proj and party trick to add to my TICKLIST. <3 glees boldering.

also... we will be in tucson over christmas in case you feel like chillin with your a-hole b.compound roomie at gates pass or tanque verde if you are around. i imagine it is easier to protect an infant from snakes and cacti, even though the stakes are higher.
