People like WB don't acutally have a core value set against which policy decisions are judged through an actual cognitive process. He just wants to vent about his perception that society has done him and all the neoconservatives wrong by electing Obama. In doing this, there are two things that MUST be done to hold this viewpoint: 1) You must overlook the massive government expansion of size, power, control, and spending that has defined our decade. And 2) You must accept that the Republican Party is the governing party that "knows best" for you and support their policy. This is the necessary formula for getting mad NOW. It is irrational and stupid to ignore GOP spending and expansion of government, but then get superpissed revolutionstyle when the balance of power swings the other way and the TARP-style bailout spending is embraced by the new administration. This means that WB must support a massively expensive & dubiously necessary war, a wall around our southern borders, and the war on drugs... because these are the nanny state social spending initiatives that these cries of "revolution" wish to put in place of our new administration.

The neorevolutionary butthurt Republicans need to realize that this sort of swing in power and policy is a natural outcome of their failure to lead the country as well as the last Democrat in office. The majority has spoken and the overwhelming conclusion is that Republican leadership is so horrible that any change is good change. If I was a Republican, I would spend less time whining about the injustice done to me and the loss of "my America" and I would go about the business of returning to the formula for success that put the GOP in power 30 years ago and kept it in power until last year - appealing to the sensibilities of the moderates to get then into the tent. Relying on the fringe right-wing lunatic blogger or his followers, the WBs of the world, will not win you any elections... at this point the GOP seems to be hoping the Democrats will implode, but my guess is that the message and tone will change to address public concerns of overspending over the next 3 years and the fight for the White House in 2012 will be an uphill battle.
