Ya know, just sayin.

I hear you but... WebOS has about 30 apps right now. Android has what? 10000. How many android phones are out there in the wild? 3, 4 maybe 5 million? Palm Pre has about a half million phones out there right now a month after release. In a couple of months, it'll be a million. Once it gets to verizon, who knows how many. I'm not so sure that android is going to take off for another year or so till phones start dropping on different carriers. In the end I just think competing against 30 apps vs 10000 apps sounds like the better idea right now. Once android has 10 or 15 million phones out there and palm has an similarly robust app catalog, then ya I completely agree that writing apps for the platform with the highest saturation makes the most sense.

thing with being unemployed is, well first, you got no money (unless you are a shit eater grabbing free ducats for nada). so that part sucks but you aren't starving. and you sleep at night. and you find a place to shit and wash your ass frequently enough.

but you are distraught. you went to school, paid for (some didn't) and got a good education (some of you.. others got a little more than a monogramed napkin to wipe your ass with). and you are thinking "Hook me UP!! I can do great things for you!!" but you shit eaters essentially ruined capitalism so .. so i am not all that sure why you thought you'd get into capitalist ventures.. but let's sidestep that for now ('cuz you know who'll shit all over itself and... yes, sidestep).

so anyways, you are ass out, unemployed, have this feeling that you are losing time, need money and want to get it done. make a name for yourself, prove your worth and show the world that YES, you can make it on your own by your own good wits and intelligence and smarts and hard work (NOT the socialist shit eater motto .. but most of you are so fucking stupid you really just do not get.. all the 'Che' shirts and 'starred' hats got your nuts hot and you ran in with the fucking shit eater crowd and by gum you will go down with it).

so you default on your student loans and feel something akin to guilt and want to get in the work force and get your hands or brain dirty.

but hey... wtf? i mean.. you can take workaday people who would like to be out fucking off just like you! aside from shit eating a pile of *FREE MONEY*, you did your part. you went to school, why aren't people hiring you (see shit eater Democrap forcing smart capitalist to ship all their labor to shit eater China = slave labor = cheap). why? 'cuz there's people BETTER THAN YOU out there. you suck.. you know nothing. you've never paid your dues and i will tell you this: EXPERIENCE is HUGE.

so my REAL POINT is.. quit cunting off about it. go play. unless this country goes totally shit eater like most of you THINK you want.. but really don'... the markets will return and $$multi-thousand dollar $$ student loan dooshbags like Ike will get some money for framed pictures of them painting their own *poopy*.

that's the great side affect of capitalism.. you get some extra scratch and can buy cool things like paintings instead of seeing them put in the 'collective museum'.

I've never used unemployment, but feel like maybe I've put in enough to get a bit back. Isn't that what it's sort of for? I figure if the govt. didn't have an insurance policy, it would be stuck. I'm starting a new business, so things are tight for sure. Hoping to save enough to pay rent, help my folks, and enough up-front for tuition for a master's in education.
