I don't actually, personally know of one person on the government dole... unless you count student loans and a less than ideal job the "dole."

I'm just sayin' for all the whining from the so-called "conservatives" (hahahaha), I don't know any of these liberal shit-eating entitlement leeches.

No. Just pointing out that he's an idiot for posting that right-wing regurgitation into this thread and this forum.

Then again, maybe because he never boldered very hard WB doesn't understand the work ethic needed to climb as hard as most of us do.

repeat after me: unpaid overtime. nice job though. you gonna dirtbag your way through the 9-5? I imagine living in your car in Aus10 in the summer would make showing up presentably kind of difficult ...

iPhone, android, blackberry, mostly storefronts

No Palm pre?! Pfffft. Shit just came out last month and the SDK was officially released today. As in less than 12 hours ago.

Peep it:

http://developer.palm.com/

With it going to verizon early next year, and the fact that there are so few apps available right now, it would probably be one of the better platforms to develop for if youre starting from scratch.

Android is presumably the best platform to develop for since it isn't tied to any particular hardware.

I hear you but... WebOS has about 30 apps right now. Android has what? 10000. How many android phones are out there in the wild? 3, 4 maybe 5 million? Palm Pre has about a half million phones out there right now a month after release. In a couple of months, it'll be a million. Once it gets to verizon, who knows how many. I'm not so sure that android is going to take off for another year or so till phones start dropping on different carriers. In the end I just think competing against 30 apps vs 10000 apps sounds like the better idea right now. Once android has 10 or 15 million phones out there and palm has an similarly robust app catalog, then ya I completely agree that writing apps for the platform with the highest saturation makes the most sense.
