Slabventure circuit at Glorias. Even a fat surfer like yourself should be able to manage. If you wait a couple months I'll be on the gimp recovery tour training plan.

indeed. a great all around board. I use a smaller 8'6" 4 fin for surfing tho.
Not a lake though in that shot, my son and I were paddling on the Wenatchee River in Leavenworth in the hot afternoons
when we were there for a week at the end of July. 2 hours paddling up river and then a 20 minute screamer
back down in the main current and through easy rapids. good stuff.

Laird Hamilton invented it so he would have alternatives to commercial flights from Hawaii to the mainland.

seems cool enough.

its has an ugly side that could be called 'sport'.

Laird is certainly largely responsible for the resurgence and gets the credit, but is not actually the 'inventor', The Duke did it as did the ancients.

but it is defintely fun in many environments:

who has the largest differential from their fatest to their current weight? I might be in the running for this one . . .

37 lbs

most of you pencil-necks woudl evaporate if you lost 37lbs. For that matter, if you put on 30+ lbs your knees and ankles would snap.

Representing the 185-195 class son

ideal climbing weight probably around 175ish...but truthfully, I view my extra 10 or so lbs as a weight vest. Im in training, get it?
