actually, i'm having one of the best summers evar.

yeah, sure, i'm old and fat (sort of)

and sure -

i'm formally unemployed (for at least another month, or so...)

but,

i'm self employed

i have two awesome little kids that i'm summer schooling and teaching to swim

i have a pool pass to an outdoor pool with 50 meter lanes for swimming and a shallow area that my kids use to meet other kids to hang out with plus a 25 meter indoor pool with diving boards. now, i'm not the only mr mom, but next to. did i mention that utah moms are really young!

i have a sport climbing partner with a park pass for state parks

i have transplant friends that are psyched to explore summer utah boldering

i have an awesome garage gym and a friend that flows me the best holds and boldering pads known to man (thanks revolution/pusher! http://www.revolutionclimbing.com/)

i just got sponsored by snowbird for another year for contributing photos to their marketing force. (thanks snowbird! http://www.snowbird.com/index.html)

i didn't change my old ten speed in to a fixie and i'm psyched because it would have been totally retarded

i go riding every day and sometimes twice

i just drank a $6 bottle of south african shiraz
