Shown to me in confidence by developers Noah Bigwood, Eric DeCaria and Jonathan Knight,

mistake on their part, huh? what happened to the days of climbing # 247, when they could do a full photo spread, yet just refer to the place as "Crag X?"

Hopefully the commitment factor will keep the crowds at bay, I would love to get back down there but my weekend warrior MO forces trips to Ibex/Joes/Uintas/Cityorocks instead.

The list of developers goes on and on, Woodward, BVB etc.

Still, if people are gonna head there in the remote future, I would be psyched to meet up with said hypothetical crew and check the place out.

pft, anything 8 hours or less of drive time qualifies as a weekend destination.

Pffft. Sucks to be you then. I just can't justify 8 hour trips very often, and last time I drove back from the Horn I think it took that long after stopping for dinner.....

has anyone here checked out the boulders down near black table? we drove down on our way home to check em out but didn't have time to really look around. about ten minutes south on the highway from the horn turnoff, take a dirt road west toward the black table, boulders are up a wash. definitely a cooler temps area, though. different type rock but still trachyte, i think. might be a decent consolation prize if you drove out to the henrys and weather at the horn went to shit. but it's definitely not stacked like the horn.

it'd be cool to get a crew down there this fall. i'm only 3.5 hrs from the campground.
