I am in font and only climbing while my kid naps so my fave pics are blurry post-send images I remember to snap before sprinting to the next problem as various euros look on in confusion. Today the Swiss peeps at L'Angle Ben's at Franchard Isatis left because I did not need their pad.

I have found that in sufficient quantity and of the utmost quality, it is an acceptable alternative to limestone... which of course ROCKS YER DOME!!!11

I also think that the forests of font and the towns around are kind of a magical place and the experience is hard to beat. Its not just the stone you're climbing, but all the shizz that makes it lovely. Maybe I'm getting soft in my old age, but it is sometimes fun to just kick it or try problems that are ill suited to your skills... and occasionally send some stuff.

where there is rock around, we go looking and scrubbing about in the muck. sometimes we're happy with the results.

granite is imposing and hard. gneiss is the best kind of rock to climb on, with features and holds to grab on to. limestone keeps on eroding. sandstone already was.

let's hope that the patterns of erosion keep on uncovering something better.

Bouldering during snow flurries next to a lake that was frozen until a few days earlier is pretty close.
