wipe it with your standard straightaway when you get a chance. otherwise steel wool and some kind of spray. that's my favourite now, the end grain kind, though i wish the blood culvert were deeper.

how are those holding up against staining? I liked the idea a lot until I started pickling beets for STFU and saw what that shit did to my hands.

Oiled every once in a while, and yah, no beets on countertop. No big stains yet, wine leaves a light mark, it'll likely get sanded down a mm or two in a few years.
