I had alpaca for the first time the other day. It was like a buttery, leaner beef. Kinda like an antelope but less gamey than expected. I dunno if I have eaten any other camelids...

looking forward to some kind of swedish dinner experience in ottawa. they have ling cod on the menu. i will order 2 raw meat appetizers to share with other people who like raw meat; then tuck in to the main course after the manner of a hungry man.
