Is it still important to pimp a new battery while it's new?.. like run it out and recharge it?

No, keep lithium-ion polymer batteries topped off if possible.

Maybe you'd be better of with a typewriter.

I got Snowleopard on my new computer, but I don't what the big deal is, besides it being fast and smooth. That OS is selling at like $60 a pop and peops are lined up out the door at the apple store buying it.

I looked at the apple website, but don't really see too many bennies over leopard.

it had enough of the nice little touches to justify the $30 upgrade price. haven't gotten it yet though.

I got it because of the video screenshot feature, needed it for work. apparently 7 gigs smaller than Leopard too.
