Are the pedals (clutch?) on a motorbike fixed enough where a pedal strike will make you eat shit in a corner similar to a bicycle? It looked like that guy was nearly scraping through the corners.

I have never ridden a motorcycle.

In high speed cornering, where a car or bike is fully committed to a line and is cornering at the limit, a botched shift that is improperly revmatched can cause the rear tires to lock up quickly and can unsettle the car (or I presume bike) enough to cause it to leave the road. This becomes more of a problem the more aggressive you have your diff set in a car.

dont shift in a turn...pick your gear, accelerate into the turn, hit the apex and blast out. turning is the only reason to have a bike. fuck rock climbing. motos are sofaking SIKKK!
