I assume they sell Honda VTR250s over there? Nice looking naked 250. The older VT250 Spada could be an option too.

i hear you on the height issue, they are very geared towards medium/small peops. The buell engineering is quality though, actual quality american engineering, almost a contradiction in terms these days. no wonder they got shut down.

the problem with driving a moto in atlanta is you need a capable bike to avoid the idiots, but a capable bike is also capable of running you into a stationary object or laying down in the blink of an eye.

be careful, take the moto safety class, and have fun with it.

dittos on the course. was worth it having never ridden a bike before and was able to walk away from the weekend with my license. seriously outnumbered though by middle-aged women taking the course because "i'm tired of sitting behind my husband... i want to ride!" so cut to the chase and drag the ET along too.

Both look wicked fun. Need to ride more offroad. VT has a wealth of closed/disused roads that get you no where in a very fun way.
