How to clean the LCD screen on an iPad, iPod, Macbook, & Macbook Pro Unibody while replacing the glass. You will not find these perfect directions anywhere on the net but here so pay attention. I decided to give directions for the whole process for glass replacement, and not just the hard part.

Before doing any computer repair be sure to unplug your battery no matter how hard it is.

1. Heat up the whole length of each side of the glass with a heat gun to melt the glue on the 3m tape which holds the glass in place between the frame.
2. Place the whole length of a 1.5 inch razor blade in the side of the glass and frame to pry up a small section of the glass (start on the left or right side to avoid damaging the camera)
3. Once the glass is lifted out enough to slide a credit card in a half an inch do so and slide the credit card all along the glass (you may have to heat up the 3m tape some more if you werent quick enough or didnt melt the glue enough, and be sure to not cut the camera cord with the credit card also so only stick the credit card in to about 1/4 of an inch while you are near the camera).
4. Remove the glass and use a plastic tool to remove any shards of glass that are still sticking to the frame.
5. Use a vacuum hose with a brush attachment to lightly brush away and suck off any loose glass around the frame AND on the LCD (you dont want to scratch the LCD with shards of glass for the next and hardest step so get rid of it all).

Your LCD is very dirty now and is not like it was when it left the factory so you need to clean it
THIS IS THE ANNOYING PART, WITHOUT THESE DIRECTIONS (YES, CLEANING THE LCD ITSELF IS HARD WITHOUT THESE DIRECTIONS)

7. Find the newest towel you have and make sure it is as long as your LCD screen.
8. Shake the towel to remove as many loose particles off of it as you can.
9. Soak the towel in distilled water and ring it out as best as you can so that there is not much water at all in the towel.
10. Put the Towel in a bowl and place it in the microwave until it is very warm.
11. Wipe the screen once in one direction and again in the other direction (this should remove all of the dust, finger prints, and 3m tape glue from the LCD and the water should evaporate almost instantly).
12. Use a tarry cloth to finish the "hardest part", and do a good job removing dust in the air (it helps to be in a room that is not very dusty), and water streaks from the towel .
13. Now you can put the glass on, remove it from the paper and hold it facing up so no dust gets on the back side of your glass.
14. Place the glass on starting from the bottom and lightly press the glass on your screen.
15. If the Frame is bent you are going to have to reshape the frame with a grinder and repeat steps 7-14 (in same cases you may have to replace the whole frame, but sometimes you can get away with bending the glass to slide back into a slightly bent frame).

I just wanted to share what I learned because everything I see on the net is careless about having a spot free LCD underneath the glass.
Now, if someone that reads this takes my advice they can have a spot free LCD that looks like it came from the factory.

The story that has saved too few of people's lives is actually about God so continually mocking the bible is for eternal fools.

A Masters teachings about many important lessons is ignored too much. Beaten and killed (like many non believers do after saying he's not Lord/a Master)...What does rising from the tomb after being killed reveal?
